About the Role

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving strategic growth across assigned Government of Canada Departments and Enterprise Accounts by developing trusted customer relationships and delivering innovative technology solutions that address mission-critical business requirements.

Working closely with Solution Architects, executive leadership, professional services, and strategic technology partners, you will lead customer engagements from opportunity identification through contract award while serving as the primary business relationship for assigned accounts.

This role requires a consultative sales professional who understands the unique procurement, security, and operational requirements of the Government of Canada and has a proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and execute complex sales strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned Government of Canada Departments and Enterprise Accounts.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, procurement officials, technical leadership, and operational stakeholders.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities across infrastructure modernization, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, storage, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lead complex sales pursuits from initial opportunity through contract award.
  • Coordinate internal technical resources, executive leadership, vendor partners, and professional services teams to develop winning customer solutions.
  • Develop customer account strategies that align technology investments with departmental priorities and business objectives.
  • Lead RFP, RFQ, Supply Arrangement, and Standing Offer opportunities.
  • Drive executive-level account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity reviews.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and develop customer proposals.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline within the company’s CRM platform.
  • Collaborate closely with strategic technology partners to develop joint customer engagement strategies.
  • Represent Stoneworks at customer meetings, executive briefings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Government of Canada procurement vehicles, technology priorities, market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional account management and executive engagement.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with a proven record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic accounts within Government of Canada Departments and Enterprise Accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Government of Canada procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, Supply Arrangements, Standing Offers, and enterprise agreements.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding annual sales quotas.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-million-dollar technology opportunities.
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic account plans and executive engagement strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with technical architects and vendor partners to develop customer solutions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Government of Canada Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).

About the Role

The Senior Architect is a trusted technical advisor responsible for developing strategic technology solutions for our key Technology Partners and Clients.

Working closely with Account Executives, vendor partners, and executive leadership, you will lead customer engagements from opportunity identification through solution design, proposal development, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and project transition.

This is a highly visible customer-facing role requiring exceptional technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the senior technical advisor for assigned Defence and Intelligence agency customers.
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close strategic opportunities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with customer executives, architects, security teams, and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and business outcome discussions.
  • Design secure enterprise architectures across multiple technology domains.
  • Develop solution strategies supporting AI initiatives, HPC environments, data centre modernization, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup/recovery.
  • Lead solution architecture for complex multi-vendor opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal Solution Architects, Professional Services, and vendor technical specialists.
  • Produce high-quality Statements of Work (SOWs), Bills of Material (BOMs), technical designs, and solution documentation.
  • Support RFP, RFQ, and competitive bid responses.
  • Deliver executive presentations, technical workshops, demonstrations, and customer briefings.
  • Lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and technology evaluations.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with customer technical, operational, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as Technical Design Authority for strategic customer engagements.
  • Mentor junior technical resources and contribute to Stoneworks’ technical community.
  • Represent Stoneworks at customer events, industry conferences, and vendor briefings.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, market trends, and Government of Canada priorities.
